Courtesy of a State Government grant to improve amenities for all sports at Newling Oval, Narwan Eels Rugby League Football Club engaged JNC to project manage the design and construction of a unisex referee changeroom with disabled access, and a unisex public toilet facility with disabled access (combined area of approximately 40m2). JNC Group worked with local architects and services designers to ensure a fit-for-purpose structure to better support the needs of the local community.

Scope of works

As head contractor, JNC Group was responsible for project management, WHS, Quality and overall project documentation including WHS Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan, Traffic Management Plan and all activity permits and approvals. The works included:

• Modify existing changerooms to allow disabled access

• Remove existing fencing along the eastern boundary, and along the south-west boundaries

• Erect new fencing on those boundaries

• New fencing to match existing ‘Crushed Spear’ fencing along the Kentucky Street frontage
