Kent Road Public School civil works, kiss + drop upgrade

Kent Road Public School, Herring Road, Marsfield, NSW

The Works comprised Kiss and Drop upgrade for pedestrian and vehicular safety improvements to Kent Road Public School in Sydney’s North West. The scope included construction of a semi-indented vehicular drop off zone to Kent Road, realignment and upgrades to street signage, line marking and bus zones as well as additional pedestrian safety fencing to Kent and Herring Roads. JNC Group coordinated with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to school operations and the neighbouring community.

Kent Road Public School is a large metropolitan school catering for 850 students from Kindergarten to Year Six. The Kiss and Drop project improves vehicular access and pedestrian safety for the Kent Road Public School community and local residents. The work involved relocating an existing kiss and ride area on busy Kent Road. This allows through traffic to safely pass the kiss and ride area.
